MICE tourism contributes to promoting Ho Chi Minh City industry
In the context of the recovery and sustainable development of related economic and service sectors, Ho Chi Minh City tourism industry is ready for a breakthrough development strategy based on existing potential advantages. In particular, the city's tourism industry positions its international destination brand through MICE tourism (a form of tourism combining conferences, seminars, exhibitions, event organization, and corporate incentive tourism for employees and partners), with the expectation of welcoming a large number of domestic and foreign visitors.

Entering 2025, in order to strive to achieve the goal of welcoming 8.5 million international visitors to Ho Chi Minh City, the City's tourism industry has identified key plans to attract tourists, along with a series of promotional and advertising activities towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
In particular, MICE tourism is considered one of the typical tourism products, with a key role in contributing to the strong development of the tourism industry; continuing to affirm itself as a strategic spearhead, bringing great potential in building a sustainable tourism industry for Ho Chi Minh city in the future.
In order to complete the group of solutions to attract MICE tourists, approaching the policies of many countries in the region, Ho Chi Minh city Department of Tourism has developed preferential policies for MICE tourist groups, attracting domestic and international tourists.
In early February 2025, the City welcomed a MICE delegation of 200 people from Cryptriva Group from India.

International tourism brand positioning
Regarding the positioning of international tourism brands, tourism experts believe that Ho Chi Minh city has become an increasingly popular destination chosen by a variety of international MICE groups. Saigon travel. Representatives of some travel companies in Ho Chi Minh City also pointed out that Europe has been their typical key market for many years, accounting for about 30% of the total number of inbound customers of the business, with the majority of tourists coming from England, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland... Most European tourists participating in the tour program have a duration of 8-12 days in Vietnam, with the itinerary stretching from South - Central - North and some Indochina routes, with 3-4 star standard service.
