Last year, Sam Son tourism continued to affirm its position as an attractive, friendly and safe destination when welcoming nearly 9 million visitors, with revenue reaching more than 17 trillion VND, accounting for more than 50% of the province's total tourism revenue.

The city has organized programs and a series of cultural, sports and tourism events such as the inauguration of the Sea Square, the Sam Son city festival landscape axis; the 70th anniversary of welcoming compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students from the South to the North and the inauguration of the memorial area; the Cau Phuc festival at Doc Cuoc temple; the Banh Chung - Banh Giay festival; the second traditional art festival, mass art; the Cau Ngu - Boi Trai festival...

To further promote the results that Sam Son tourism has achieved, effectively overcome shortcomings and limitations, and contribute significantly to the province's tourism industry in successfully completing the goal of welcoming 16 million visitors and total tourism revenue of VND 45,500 billion in 2025, Standing Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi requested Sam Son to continue to improve the effectiveness of direction, operation and state management in the tourism sector, especially price management and business of tourist transportation services by electric car.

The city needs to strengthen inspection, examination and supervision to promptly rectify, detect and strictly handle violations, creating an equal, disciplined and orderly business environment. At the same time, manage and exploit the Hubways more effectively, bringing a new look to Sam Son beach, building a civilized, modern and safe tourism environment.

Sam Son today is striving, changing every day to realize the goal of becoming a modern coastal tourist city.
