Winter in Thanh Hoa usually lasts from November to January with an average temperature of 12 - 22oC, little rain and many sunny days, favorable for tourism activities. Many Han Nom steles are preserved on the cave walls. Coming to Kim Son, visitors can also admire the beauty of Linh Ung Pagoda, built during the Ly Dynasty and restored during the reign of King Bao Dai.

Another interesting stop for your winter trip is Lam Kinh National Relic Site, one of the famous destinations of Thanh Hoa. The relic site attracts visitors all year round. In the vast space of over 140 hectares, with many ancient trees hundreds of years old, it will be an unforgettable experience.

The relic site includes a system of works: the main hall, the temples, the left wing, the right wing, the west wing, the east kitchen, the welcoming gate, the dragon yard, the crescent lake, the Ngoc River, the Bach Bridge, the West Lake, the Nhu Ang Lake, the system of walls... In particular, with the role of a memorial "capital", Lam Kinh stands out with a system of tombs and stone steles recording the merits of Le Kings. These are large-scale architectural works of art, demonstrating the high level of technique and art of architecture during the early Le and Le Trung Hung dynasties.

Not only attracting domestic and foreign visitors by the unique Asian architecture of the ancient citadel, Lam Kinh is also attractive with mysterious legends in the mausoleums of the kings of the Later Le dynasty. That is the legend of the laughing guava tree. Just lightly touching the tree trunk with your finger, the tips of the leaves will shake as if laughing.

Diversifying tourism products and increasing the experience of “the colors of the four seasons” is the strength of Thanh Hoa.
